Improving and advancing building codes and standards affect market transformation necessary to accelerate advanced energy technologies’ adoption through back-stopping the more innovative CEA Initiatives pertaining to early commercialized technologies which promote grid-integrated efficient buildings. CEA is in a unique position to provide a space for government and industry to collaborate, learn, and share opportunities for achieving each other’s energy and environmental goals.

Education & Outreach


Education, training, and outreach are fundamental to supporting the requisite market transformation necessary to accelerate advanced energy technologies’ adoption, supporting building codes and standards improvement, and effectively engaging government and industry stakeholders to support CEA’s mission. CEA will work to assist and provide recommendations for the continued development and use of a skilled, trained, and certified workforce. Absent this Pillar, CEA would be hamstrung in advancing its stated Mission and the interests of its Members.
