CEC published its 2019 Express Terms, also known as the 45-day language. The Express Terms contain the first draft of updates to the 2016 Building Energy-Efficiency Standards. Once published, a 45-day public review period begins. During the review period, CEC is expected to host public hearings on its proposed updates where stakeholders can voice their opinions on the proposed code changes.
